Bears returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs amid decrease in index. ISE Network Index showed a decrease of 17.06 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,598.23 to 11,581.17 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,123,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,632,700 shares.
Total 118 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (60) closed in minus territory, 58 landed in plus zone.
The turnover of PTCL was 1,240,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 770,200 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 503,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 686,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 208,000 shares.
