Changes were quite a few on the wholesale commodities during the week ended on July 9, 2005, changes were significant in castorseeds, makai, plastic mouldings, tuver, guwar and wheat. The commodities on Monday had variations in castorseeds Sindh and Lasbela which was registered higher at Rs 825 and inferior was recorded up Rs 25 to Rs 775, makai better type rose by Rs 10 to Rs 980 while the other type stayed put at Rs 950.
On Tuesday plastic mouldings showed changes in HDPE (Film) Saudia 952 down 75 paisa to Rs 35.50, Mobil down 50 paisa to Rs 35.50, TR 144 down 75 paisa to Rs 35, HDPE Kuwait down Rs 3 to Rs 37, Marlex down 50 paisa to Rs 37, Iran down 50 paisa to Rs 35, LDPE 374 down Rs 2.50 to Rs 39.50, MG 20 down Rs 3 to Rs 42, MG 70 down Rs 3 to Rs 42, LLDPE Sabic 500026 down Rs 3 to Rs 42, polypropylene film Thai down Re 1 to Rs 38, Kuwait down Rs 1.25, to Rs 38, India down Rs 1.25 to Rs 38, polypropylene tape grade India down 50 paisa to Rs 35.75, Kuwait down 50 paisa to Rs 35.37, Saudia down 75 paisa to Rs 35.50, India down Rs 1.75 to Rs 35.50, Kuwait down Rs 1.75 to Rs 35.50, High impact Pakistani quoted at Rs 2640 and polystyrene Pak was quoted at Rs 2530.
Tuver Burma quoted higher at Rs 2700, guwar was higher by Rs 50 for all stations to Rs 1700 and Rs 1800, wheat Mexipak both types were registered at Rs 1140 and Rs 1150.
On Wednesday Makai better type was up Rs 20 to Rs 1000 while inferior type was put at Rs 950.
Milk powder Bailie Gold up Rs 100 to Rs 4700, Bale Vole up Rs 100 to Rs 4700, Haleeb Veg down Rs 350 to Rs 4400, and Melco Veg up Rs 200 to Rs 4500.
On Thursday rapeseed oilcake rose by Rs 10 to Rs 775, while the superior type gained Rs 25 to Rs 800, Dadu seed rose sharply by Rs 50 to Rs 675, and better type up Rs 25 to Rs 700, Mirpur was up Rs 10 to Rs 745 and better type was quoted at Rs 750, rapeseed cakes rose modestly by Rs 5 to Rs 305-306.
Bajra inferior type Rs 50 to Rs 2150 while better type stayed put at Rs 230, wheat Mexipak old was quoted at Rs 1135-1140, and the new type registered at Rs 1145 and Rs 1150, guwar better type was quoted higher by Rs 25 to Rs 1825 for all stations, the better one was help up at Rs 1700, juwar quoted at new rate of Rs 1000 and Rs 1200.
Jute goods Bawany brown 20x3 down 50 paisa to Rs 36.50, 16x3 CRT/Indus down 50 paisa to Rs 36.50, 8x3 down same amount to Rs 51.50, and 40x3 Bawany brown down 50 paisa to Rs 34.50.
On Friday plastic mouldings showed some more changes such as HDPE film TR144 down 50 paisa to Rs 35, HDPE Kuwait down Re 1 to Rs 36, Marlex down Re 1 to Rs 36, Iran up Re 1 to Rs 36, LDPE MG 20 down Rs 2 to Rs 40 MG 70 down Rs 2 to Rs 40, polypropylene film Thai down Re 1 to Rs 37, polypropylene tape grade India down 50 paisa to Rs 36.25, Kuwait down 50 paisa to Rs 36.25, Saudia down 50 paisa to Rs 36.25, polypropylene injection grade Saudia up 50 paisa to Rs 36, India up 50 paisa to Rs 36, Kuwait up 50 paisa to Rs 36, Copoly Randon up Re 1 to Rs 44.
Low supply perception due to rains and floods pushed some prices up cotton seed oilcake gained Rs 5 to Rs 430-450, Irri white low type shed Rs 20 to Rs 1030, and better type lost Rs 10 to Rs 1050, wheat mexipak old and new quoted at Rs 1135, Rs 1145, Masoor dal from India went up Rs 350 to Rs 3700-3800.
