Federal Information Technology Minister Awais Ahmed Leghari on Sunday said that Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) would be privatised by June 10. He said the economy would be strengthened due to privatisation of the PTCL. Talking to a private channel, he said, union workers demands have been fulfilled according to the rules and regulations and the matter would be resolved amicably.
However, some miscreants are creating hurdles in the smooth process of privatisation, he said, adding that they would be dealt with strictly, he added.
He said the present government is committed to improve the standard of life of the common man.
