Managing Director Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) Brigadier Iftikhar Haider has asked the concerned officials to finalise proposals regarding restructuring of the Water board. The MD was addressing a one-day workshop held here in this connection which was attended by all the deputy managing directors, chief engineers and other senior officers and engineers. The workshop participants discussed the planning to enhance the pace of various developing projects of the KWSB.
The MD said that it was necessary for better planning of its future projects.
Brigadier Iftekhar said that the KWSB's restructuring had become necessary to utilise the existing manpower in a better way and improve its working performance.
He pointed out that the City's population is increasing and so is the construction activity, it is imperative to carry out future planning for proper utilisation of limited resources and manpower.
He told the officials to submit concrete and positive proposals so that the same could be implemented accordingly.
