ISE index loses 231.13 points

Equities failed to show recovery signs at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where the fresh bearish assault moved the entire ready-board in minus territory amid increase in index. ISE network index showed a decrease of 231.13 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 12,707.12 to 12,475.99 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 354,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 47,700 shares. A total of 134 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (74) closed in minus territory, 60 showed plus signs.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim was 185,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 9,000 shares. The volume of PSO was 64,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 6,700 shares. The volume of PTCL was 51,500 shares.
