I compliment the Ministry of Privatisation, Ministry of Textile Industry and E-commerce Gateway Singapore for organising the Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition and extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to them. I am pleased to see that Pakistan is making its mark internationally as a country with a vast untapped market for state-of-the-art textile products and a source of quality manpower that is trained in manufacturing and industrial skills. Pakistan's recent advancement in textile sector is a vital component to attract foreign investment in the country.
Pakistan's economy has by the Grace of Almighty Allah taken off and our GDP is growing at the highest rate in the history of the country our exports are increasing and our stock exchanges are considered to be among the best performing in the world.
I consider organisation of events such as Textile Asia 2005 Exhibition as important measures that internationally highlight the opportunities that exist in Pakistan. I wish, all associated with the event success in their endeavours.
