AJK PPP chief and member Azad Jammu Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sahibzada Ishaq Zaffar has welcomed the ongoing composite dialogues between Pakistan and India to peacefully resolve all outstanding issues including the core issue of Indian occupied Kashmir. He was talking to newsmen here last night on the occasion of the massive public rally at the Awami Hall arranged by ex speaker of the AJK Legislature and member AJK Parliament Chaudhry Abdul Majeed Advocate.
Zaffar said that since his party - Pakistan Peoples Party believed in Indian occupied Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan and the accession of entire Jammu Kashmir state to Pakistan after liberation of Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir from the Indian yoke any of the decision about the fate of Indian occupied Kashmir should be made by taking Kashmiris into confidence, he urged.
He said that his party and its chief Benazir Bhutto were always fully in favour of the dialogue between Islamabad and New Delhi the Indian occupied Kashmir issue be settled according to the aspirations of the Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir people the manor party to the dispute.
Ishaq Zafar demanded for holding the intra-Kashmiri dialogue between the recognised leadership of (Jammu Kashmir people from both sides of the line of control to exchange views for the early peaceful possible solution of the lingering Indian occupied Kashmir disputes.
He added that the such intra-Kashmiri dialogue might also prove to be helpful for both Pakistan and India in their efforts for the peaceful solution of Kashmir issue. He demanded that the Indian occupied Kashmir issue be resolved according to the entire aspirations of the Kashmiri people to ensure the permanent and durable settlement of the dispute.
Welcoming to the proposed Muzaffarabad - Srinagar Bus Service, the Kashmiri leader said the service be introduced without any passport or visa restrictions to ensure the free movement of the divided Kashmiri families inhibiting either side of the line of control.
Referring to the ongoing reported differences in the ranks of the parliamentary party of the ruling All Muslim Conference; Ishaq Zaffar said that his party was fully prepared to take full legal benefit of the no confidence move whenever it was launched by the dissident legislators of the Muslim Conference in house against the Prime Minister Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan.
He said that the vote of all the 16 assembly members belonging to his AJK PPP in the house will go in favour of our party leader whosoever will be nominated by the party chairperson Benazir Bhutto, he declared.
He said that the AJK PPP was bound to obey the orders of Benazir Bhutto instead of any other individual including the sitting leader of opposition in the legislature Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.
Ishaque said that he has launched mass contact drive throughout Azad Kashmir to reorganise the party and to restore the direct relationship between the party and the people. He said that the party has attained a new spirit since he took over as its chief.
