In the budget speech, finance minister Shaukat Aziz has said that the overall economy of the country is back on track.
According to the Finance Minister due to continuity of the government policies, this year the economic condition of the country has improved.
The nation is expecting that in future, increase in agriculture and industrial production would help create employment opportunities and eradicate poverty from the society.
Is it possible under the present condition?
The prices of basic commodities go beyond the reach of the poor during the law and order situation. When any unfortunate incident occurs in the city, shopkeepers start charging high rates of their products, especially food items.
The budget is business and investment friendly, it's true but how the economic activities will continue under the circumstances.
The law and order situation is not satisfactory in the port city of Karachi. All are living in fear nowadays but are hopeful of improvement in the days to come.
