imagePakistan Fast-bowler Umar Gul has expressed that the tour of England will test left-arm pacer Muhammad Amir’s patience.

Pakistan's pacer Mohammad Amir will face a lot of pressure during the England tour. According to local media report, Umar Gul said, “to stay calm and concentrate on the game.”

“I am sure the Pakistan management would have spoken to him about it but there is no doubt that Amir will face a lot of pressure during the upcoming tour and this is to be expected due to what happened in 2010,” said Gul.

The British media will be following his every move and I would advise him to let his bowling do the talking. He should restrict his movements from the hotel to the ground and back and simply concentrate on his game and nothing else. This will be the best way to answer all of the criticism and back-talk,” he added.

The likely participation of Mohammad Amir in the first Test at Lord’s on July 14th will stand special significance as he will be resuming his Test career at a ground where he played his last Test match nearly six years ago. Amir was quoted to foreign media. "I was all excited for Test cricket because that is where my career was held back. You call it a coincidence or whatever but for me it's a blessing that I am restarting (Tests) right at Lord's from where I stopped in 2010.

However, Pakistan take on England in the first Test match set to be played at Lord’s in London from July 14. The national side will go on to play three more Tests, five ODIs and a one-off T20 fixture in the tour which continues till early September.
