RAWALPINDI: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja Monday paid a surprise visit to Haidery Chowk Ramazan Sasta Bazaar and reviewed security arrangements.
On the occasion, DSP New Town circle, Raja Tafoor gave briefing about arrangements made to ensure security at Ramazan Sasta Bazaar.
Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Fakhar Sultan Raja ordered the police officers to further improve security of the bazaar.
He said the police, in accordance with the instructions of Punjab government and IGP, trying to provide foolproof security to imambargahs, mosques, bazaars, shopping malls and other public places. Negligence on part of police officers would not be tolerated, he added.
