Senator S.M. Zafar has said that assemblies will complete their tenure and there is no possibility of any in-house change.
"I am assure that assemblies will complete their period because not only the treasury members, but also the opposition want this", Zafar told a private television channel.
He said Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has boldly withdrawn his candidature for the slot of PML general secretary, adding it will help him deliver his official responsibilities appropriately. Zafar said, Gohar Ayub Khan and Salim Saifullah are the two possible candidates for the post of general secretary of the unified Muslim League. However, the weight is tilted toward Gohar Ayub Khan, he added.
There is no harm if President General Pervez Musharraf joins the politics, he said, adding in his opinion the PML will welcome him.
