Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced new schedule for 'Samjhota Express' which is the sole rail link between India and Pakistan.
According to the programme, effective from May 24, Samjhota Express will reach Lahore from Atari every Monday and Thursday while leave for Atari from Lahore on every Tuesday and Friday. However, there will be no change in the timings of this train.
Meanwhile, PR has also announced to run a special train 'Summer Vacation Special' between Lahore-Karachi via Multan from June 15, 2004. It will be run on daily basis and leave Lahore for Karachi and Karachi for Lahore at 8:00 pm and reach its destination next day at 1:00 pm.
