The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has transferred District and Sessions Judge Lahore Muhammad Khalil Chaudhry, and appointed him as Member Inspection Team (MIT) LHC.
The Chief Justice has appointed Abdus Salam Khawar as District and Sessions Judge Lahore.
It may be mentioned that bar members had demanded transfer of Khalil Chaudhry and also held protest against him.
The bar members, however, withdraw their strike call, when Chief Justice had assured the bar representatives that Khalil Chaudhry would be transferred.
