In a fresh move eight NSRCs will be established in different areas of Peshawar region including Alai, Madain, Balakot, Buni, Kulachi, Naran, Nathia Gali and Thall.
A total number of seven NSRCs will be set up in different areas of Lahore region including Chunnian, Daska, Muridke, Pattoki, Raiwind, Kot Radha Kishan and Sangla Hill.
Five NSRCs will be established in various areas of Quetta region which included Awaran, Bollan, Kharan, Mashtung and Qila Saifullah districts.
In Islamabad, Karachi and Sargodh regions there will be two Swift Centres each.
In Islamabad region these will be set up in the remote areas of Bagh and Skardu districts whereas in Karachi swift centres will be established in Tando Allahyar and Matiari.
In Sargodah region the NSRCs will be set up at Bhalwal and Nurpur Thal districts and one Swift Center will be established at Mailsi in Multan region.
So far these Swift centres have received 8,727,843 applications out of which 8,044,624 CNICs have been issued.
These state-of-the-art Swift Centres have not only simplified the application process but have also reduced number of mistakes in the CNIC due to complicated forms or data entry.
In addition to application for modification, corrections and fresh CNIC these centers have now started issuing Child Registration Certificates, which have replaced Form 'B'.
