Punjab Education Minister Mian Imran Masood, while accepting long standing demand of daily-wage employees of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore, has announced their regularisation on extendable contract according to the government rules of recruitment.
He announced this while presiding over a meeting here on Friday, which was also attended by provincial secretary Education, Shahid Rashid, Chairman BISE Dr Zikriya Butt, Additional Secretary Academic Muhammad Akram Chaudhry and other officers concerned.
The minister also directed payment of one-month salary to 650 employees who discharge their duties after the routine hours to conduct 9th and 11th classes examinations.
He directed the BISE management to ensure declaration of timely conduct and result of various examinations.
