At least four people including two children were killed when a fire destroyed a slum Thursday on the outskirts of the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka, the fire brigade said.
"We have so far recovered four bodies, two of them children," a fire brigade spokeswoman said.
She said some 250 homes made of tin and bamboo were destroyed in the fire with rescue operations still underway.
