The Punjab University vice-chancellor Arshad Mahmood has approved award of five grace marks in each paper of M.A English Part-I Annual Examination 2003.
The Board of Studies had recommended this in it's meeting held on April 15, 2004.
It may be mentioned that as many as 6290 candidates had appeared in this examination out of which 1193 candidates were declared successful with an overall pass percentage of 18.97.
Now with this decision, 762 more candidates have been declared successful. The grace marks have been given in the papers of poetry, drama, novel, prose and American literature.
