92 percent students pass Class V exams in Multan

The education department on Monday announced the result of annual Class V examinations 2004, showing a handsome overall pass percentage of 92 in Multan district.
Total 33,696 candidates, including 6,506 girls and 20,646 boys from the private and the government schools appeared in the examinations, out of which, 30,866 were declared successful, while 2,626 were declared fail, and 2,156 did not appear in the examinations.
Twenty-three position holders were awarded prizes in the result-declaration ceremony.
