Acting president of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Qazi Hussain Ahmed met with the chief of Jamiat-i-Ulema-i-Pakistan (JUP) Professor Shah Faridul Haq at his residence here on Monday.
A Jamat-i-Islami Karachi statement said that the two leaders discussed the overall situation in the country as well as the Wana operation and the National Security Council bill.
They also discussed the public contact campaign of the MMA commencing from April 8. Matters pertaining to the MMA also came up for discussion on the occasion.
