Indian silver screen top stars Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Sheti have reached Lahore on a short visit, to attend a special show being arranged by the Royal Palm Gold & Country Club.
The Bollywood icons, who arrived here by a special chartered aircraft at about 2.00 pm, were heavily guarded by dozens of Punjab Elite Force commandos. Both the celebrities were escorted out of the VIP lounge under tight security, as only a few officials of the Golf Club were allowed to receive the Indian stars at the airport.
There was no Lollywood star present at the airport to receive their counterparts from India. However, hundreds of people, who had knowledge about their arrival, gathered at the airport to have a glimpse of famous silver screen faces.
Both the stars were escorted to an unknown location in the city from where they would go to Golf Club, to attend the show. Both Shilpa and Akshay are scheduled to leave Lahore on Friday.
