The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (Unido) will organise a two-day conference on "Women Entrepreneur-ship Development - Artisans at Work" from Monday here in a local hotel.
The main objectives of the conference are to promote productive and decent employment and income generation possibilities for women, including the handicrafts sector, is one of the major initiatives being undertaken by ILO, SDC, Unido, WFP and other partners in Pakistan.
The conference will provide an opportunity for government and non-governmental organisations to demonstrate social commitment and responsible corporate citizenship by addressing women need in entrepreneur-ship and social development.
