Hundreds of villagers staged sit-in on Millat road and Narwala road against the imposition of toll tax by district government and strongly demanded that this tax should be withdrawn immediately.
In a protest meeting held at Narwala Bungalow, PML-N's Additional General Secretary, Chaudhry Mohammed Shabaz Kissan, Haji Meraj Din, Captain Khalid Mehmood Mirza (Retd), Dilmir Ahmad and Latif Siddiqui announced that they would continue their struggle till the end of toll tax.
PPP's MPA, Jahanzeb Imtiaz Gill threatened that his party would stage protest demonstration, if the district government failed to withdraw toll tax on three rural area roads.
