The Executive Committee of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) shall meet on March 15 to discuss the present state of government-press relations along with other administrative and organisational issues, said the spokesman for the APNS.
APNS Secretary-General Muhammad Aslam Kazi, in a statement, has announced that the APNS Executive Committee members across the country shall gather on March 15 to thoroughly discuss the state of Govt-Press relations in the country, and decide their strategy on pending issues and matters of concern to the industry.
The APNS Executive Committee shall also consider the annual report and finalise the holding of Annual General Council Meeting.
It will also discuss the draft resolution on co-branding of govt/govt commercial and private sector clients and decide convening of Extra-Ordinary General Council.
The Committee shall also discuss the reports of convenors of Scrutiny, Advertising and provincial committees.
Muhammad Aslam Kazi has requested all APNS Executive Committee members to positively attend the meeting.-PR
