Argentine sales of 2002/03 corn totalled 11.04 million tonnes by January 23, up from 11.02 million tonnes the week before, the agriculture department said on Monday.
By the same date last year, corn sales totalled 9.635 million tonnes.
Last week Argentina reported sales of 20,000 tonnes of corn to unspecified destinations.
The government's sales data refers to corn seeded in 2002 and harvested starting in March 2003.
The estimated sales are based on information collected from industry sources.
