Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Faisalabad city has identified 10 sites for the sale of sacrificial animals here in connection with the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
This step has been taken to keep the city neat and clean with the influx of huge number of animals, which is increasing day by day with the advent of this annual event of sacrifice.
The TMA authorities have directed cattle owners to restrict their animals at the specified sites instead of roaming and littering their refuse throughout the city.
Meanwhile special arrangements have also been made to regularly clean and lift the garbage for these sites with spray of insecticides etc.
The sites identified for the sate of sacrificial animals are Rajbah outside Jhang bazaar, WASA godown near Novelty bridge, Summundri road, D-type bridge up to Novelty bridge, Satiana road near main gates Batala colony, Toll Tax Ghulam Muhammad Abad near Petrol Pump, Sheikupura road near Nishatabad bridge, Chak No 120-JB Bawa Chak near Saim Nallah Sargodha road, Akbar Chowk Gulistan Colony, Narwala road near Kaleem Shaheed Park and Jaranwala road near Green belt Madina Town.
The TMA authorities have also warned that cattle will be confiscated if it were found roaming in other parts of the city.
