The revision of the electoral rolls are under way in district Attock like other parts of the country, and will continue up to January 26 during which new entries will be made in the lists.
This was stated by Attock Assistant Election Commissioner Shabeer Ahmad while talking to APP here on Monday.
He said 26 assistant registration officers and 468 local area supervisors have been deputed for this purpose, adding all those who wanted to enrol their names or wanted to delete any name in electoral rolls must contact the nearest supervisor by January 22.
Shabeer said after scrutiny from January 23 to February 11, the final list will be displayed on March 6, adding the civil judges of the district namely Chaudhry Abdul Majeed and Mohammad Sajjad Abbasi from Attock, Amir Mukhtar Gondal for Hassanabdal, Rana Mohammad Khan for Fateh Jang, Fiaz Ahmad, Zaheer for Pindigheb and Mohammad Ali for tehsil Jand will scrutinise the lists.
