KARACHI: Sindh Health Minister, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that video link conference with Medical Superintendents (MSs) of public sector hospitals and Director Health officers (DHOs) of the province will be held on regular basis soon.
The conference aims to check regularity and punctuality of the health service provider staff and to enhance the performance of Health Department, he said.
The Minister said this while presiding over a meeting at his office here on Monday, said a statement.
Among others, Sindh Secretary Health Ahmed Bux Narejo was also present on the occasion.
He directed the Secretary Health to make arrangements in this regard and ensure conducting of video link conference at the earliest.
He added this step of Health Department would not only enable the high-ups of the department to keep a vigil eye and it will also create sense of responsibility among Health Department employees.
He said that we all should get benefit of latest technology to provide better health services to the people and no negligence should be tolerated in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Minister for Health directed the Secretary Health to take strict action against DS Zahid Shur who was reportedly involved in corruption and to relieve him at once.
The Health Minister also talked to Chief Secretary Sindh in this regard and suggested to take Departmental Inquiry against him.
