ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday said that Pakistan Boy Scouts Association (PBSA) has an important role in developing good citizenship and character among the boys and urged the scouts to be useful and helpful in community development.
The President said this while chairing a presentation by Chief Commissioner Pakistan Boy Scouts Association Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
He said that the association needs to be appropriately re-oriented to meet its financial needs and for effective functioning.
The President assured of his personal interest in the affairs of PBSA to enable the association to pursue its humanitarian mission and achieve objectives.
The Chief Commissioner briefed the President about the mission and activities of the Association.
The President was also apprised about administrative, financial, logistical matters and future plans of PBSA to make it vibrant and useful.
