ISLAMABAD: Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maualana Fazal-ur-Rehman Thursday strongly condemned the execution of Matiur Rehman Nizami, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh.
In a statement issued here, he criticized the Bangladesh government decision of executing Matiur Rehman Nizami and termed it a violation of human rights.
He said that National Assembly had passed a joint resolution against the execution.
Maulana Fazal also sympathized with the family of Matiur Rehman. He prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
