LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said banks and development financial institutions (DFIs) are playing vital role in the economy of the country.
He said this while commenting on what Sheikh Allauddin said in the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday.
He said that besides earning profit banks were providing jobs to a large number of people.
He assured that in cabinet committee for law and order, Sheikh Allauddin and other representatives would be invited while Home Secretary and IGP Police would also attend it to find solution.
Opposition leader Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed while speaking on point of objection said that he had submitted adjournment motion four days back in assembly secretariat and permission should be given to present it in the session out of turn.
Speaker while responding on this said that there was no law for this in assembly rules and he had not received any adjournment motion.
All adjournment motions were kept pending due to absence of the parliamentary secretaries.
Earlier, Speaker said that minister or parliamentary secretary of the relevant department should be in assembly whom adjournment motion was presented in the assembly.
Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that house had made amendment in assembly rules and every body should own it.
Four resolutions were unanimously adopted in Punjab Assembly.
The session started one hour behind its scheduled time with Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan in chair.
