High and Low were 33304.40 and 33040.91 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 54,842,340 shares with 252 total traded companies out of which 68 were up, 169 were down and 15 were unchanged.
CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 18,897,700 shares. It was followed by TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION with a total traded volume of 7,135,500 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 6,203,500 and price per share of 14.17 ( 0.31), MapleLeafCement with a volume 5,031,000 of price per share of 79.80 (1.50), Telecard Limited with a volume 2,396,500 of price per share of 3.05 ( 0.10).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6100.00 ( 150.00), Bata (Pak) with price per share of 3300.00 (134.75) and Sapphire Fiber share of 750.00 ( 35.10).
The top three decliners were Ferozsons (Lab) with price per share of 1080.00 (-27.99), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 650.00 (-19.99) and K.S.B.Pumps per share of 245.25 (-12.81).
