Sindh home department extends duration of Section 144 in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Home Department has extended the duration of Section 144 in Karachi for another 90 days whereby there will be absolute ban on display of weapon during next three months in the metropolis.

According to a notification issued Tuesday no individual or group will be allowed to carry any sort of arm or ammunition in public in Karachi during the given period.

Moreover security guards too would not be authorized to carry any weapon if not in uniform.

Motorists and vehicles owners will also not be allowed to used tinted glasses and those found violating the law would be strictly dealt with, said the notification.
