imageMULTAN: The draw for Rs 25000 denomination prize bonds was held at the auditorium of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Multan Monday morning.

The draw was held in the presence of chairman draw committee medical superintendent Multan Institute of Dentistry Dr. Ilyas Tanweer,regional director of Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) Multan Tahir Atiq, chief manager SBP Multan Malik Muhammad Ashraf Khokhar besides people from different walks of life.

CDNS Multan publicity officer,Syed Muhammad Asghar Shah announced the winners. First prize of Rs 50 million went to prize bond number 185716,second prize (three prizes worth Rs 15 million each) went to three prize bonds including 076022,088008, and 325312.

Speaking on the occasion,Regional director national savings Tahir Atiq said that prize bond scheme was instrumental in developing saving habits among the people and thousands of people have become rich by virtue of this scheme. He said that CDNS was the only institution offering higher rate of return to pensioners and elderly people through its different saving schemes.

Dr. Ilyas Tanweer praised the transparency maintained during the process of draw. Chief manager SBP Multan Ashraf Khokhar said that SBP acts swiftly on public complaints against banks and other financial institutions.
