Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has refused to do a scene that sees her making love with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in her upcoming movie ‘Raees’.
According to a Bollywoodlife.com, Mahira has refused to shoot for a lovemaking scene with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays a pivotal role in the film. The Pakistani actress seems to have had strong reservations shooting the scene with him, which required Nawaz’s character to force himself on her.
Another Indian media report stated that the love scene is pretty edgy, dark and somewhat brutal which has Nawaz forcing himself on her. The report further stated that the sequence was unsettling for Mahira and she refused to do it.
Pakistani actress will make her Bollywood debut with ‘King of Bollywood’ Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Raees’. Directed by Rahul Dholakia and jointly produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Gauri Khan and Farhan Akhtar, ‘Raees’ is slated to release next year on Eid. Incidentally, Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ is also scheduled to release on the same day.
