After a fantastic Pakistan team win in the first ODI, Pakistan would be looking forward to put up a similar show against Sri Lanka in the second game of the five-match series at Pallekele Stadium today.
The first match of ODI series thanks to a memorable all-round performance from Mohammad Hafeez, who took four wickets and scored an excellent century as well. Hafeez became the second Pakistani to score a century and take four wickets in the same ODI series in Dambulla on Saturday.
Now Pakistan have their eyes set on ODI series win in order to qualify for the ICC Champions Trophy2017 held in England.
In this one day international series Pakistani skipper Azhar Ali is confident to make another historic win against Sri Lanka and book their place in top eight teams of the World. However, Pakistan will hope to continue their excellent run rate against Sri Lanka. Pakistan will be come today with confidence ahead of the second ODI series at Pallekele.
