Berth occupancy was maintained at 28pc at the Port on Saturday where a total of four ships namely M.V Afamia, M.V Glory, M.V Maiimat Saka, are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, containers, and iron ore during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 12180 tonnes, comprising 1500 tonne imports and 10680 tones exports containers (Tues) 301 was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Mahmat Saka & M.V Glory sailed on Saturday evening.

M.V Maersk Carolena (D/L containers) at QICT, M.T Sc Hai Kou (D-palm oil), M.V Gerasimos (D-canola seed) at FAP expected to take berth on Sunday, August 21, 2011.
