KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan on Monday held a meeting at the Governor House to review the situation emerging from the continuing scorching heatwave in Sindh, including Karachi.
He directed K-Electric to restore power supply in the areas without electricity.
He also asked K-Electric authorities to make every possible effort to overcome unscheduled loadsheding in the city to provide relief to the people experiencing very hot weather, said an official statement.
He directed that water be immediately supplied through water tankers to the city's areas which are facing shortage besides increasing quantum of water supply to the city to cope with increasing its demand in the high temperature.
He ordered that proper care be provided to the patients of gastro admitted to different hospitals.
