This was stated by the Country Manager of Turkish Airlines, Huseyin Cepni.

He was talking on the occasion of an Iftar-Dinner he hosted at a local hotel on Friday for the representatives of the tour operators.

Cepni said that Turkish Airlines has started three times a week Islamabad-Istanbul-Islamabad flights.

It was already operating four times a week Karachi-Istanbul- Karachi flights.

Cepni further pointed out that the Turkish Airlines would like in increase traffic on Karachi-Istanbul-Karachi route as the prospects exist.

He said that plans are also being mulled to look into the possibilities of initiation of flights from Lahore.

Cepni stated that a delegation from Ordu, a Turkish province located on the Black Sea coast, would visit Pakistan next month.

Led by the Governor of Ordu, the delegation would look into the prospects of enhancing trade and tourism, he further pointed out.

Cepni also pointed out that the Chief Executive Officer of Turkish Airlines, Temel Kotil, had been conferred the Star Track award.
