MUMBAI: India's currency, bond and interbank cash markets will be closed on Friday for a local holiday.
The interbank cash market will open as usual on Saturday, but normal trading in the other two markets will resume only on Monday.
On Thursday, the partially convertible rupee ended at 45.7350/7450 per dollar, 0.7 percent weaker from Wednesday's close of 45.4050/4150. Intraday, it had touched a low of 45.7525, a level not seen since Feb. 11.
The 10-year benchmark bond yield had ended at 8.26 percent, down 6 basis points from its previous close.
The four-day inter-bank cash rate had ended at 8.00/8.10 percent, almost steady from Wednesday's close of 8.00/8.05 for one-day loans.
