LONDON: Ken Sio crossed for a hat-trick as Hull KR climbed off the bottom of the Super League table with an emphatic 50-20 win over Catalans Dragons on Sunday.
Former Parramatta Eel Sio crossed early on to restore parity after Willie Tonga's try had put the visitors ahead.
Sio's initial score had sparked the Dragons into action as they subsequently ran in three unanswered scores in the first half through Michael Oldfield, Remi Casty and Eloi Pelissier.
Hull KR full-back Ben Cockayne crossed just a minute before the break to close the gap and after the break Rovers ran riot.
Sio crossed twice more to complete his treble, Cockayne added a second while Albert Kelly, centre Liam Salter and replacements Kevin Larroyer and midweek loan signing Shaun Lunt all crossed as well.
Their runaway victory leaves city neighbours Hull FC now bottom of the table, Rovers having climbed to eighth with their second win of the season.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Rangi Chase and Junior Sau were both on the scoresheet as Salford Red Devils held on to claim their second win of the season with a 24-18 victory over Wakefield Wildcats.
The Red Devils are now three games unbeaten in Super League after opening their season with two losses and they had Greg Johnson and Weller Hauraki to thank, as well as Chase and Sau who crossed in the win.
Josh Griffin kicked three goals for the hosts while for Wakefield their try scorers were Jacob Miller, Paul McShane and Craig Hall, the latter also adding three goals in the loss.
On Friday, St Helens maintained their 100 per cent start to the season to open up a two-point lead at the top of the table.
Keiron Cunningham's side had Lance Hohaia to thank as they fought back from eight points down to beat Widnes Vikings 30-20.
The former New Zealand Warrior crossed twice, while Patrick Ah Van and Atelea Vea were also on the scoresheet in the victory at the Select Security Stadium.
The Saints are clear on top because Leeds Rhinos, the only other previously unbeaten team, slipped to defeat against Warrington Wolves.
The Wolves' impressive 18-6 victory was built on a superb defensive display while Kevin Penny, Stefan Ratchford and Ryan Atkins all crossed for tries.

After losing to Brisbane Broncos in extra-time in the World Club Series, they were then beaten by Hull KR and Castleford Tigers in Super League but first-half tries from Joel Tomkins and Dan Sarginson put the Warriors 12-0 up.
Hull's tries from Fetuli Talanoa and Callum Lancaster sandwiched a Matty Smith drop-goal that settled the match in the Warriors' favour.
And on Thursday Huddersfield Giants claimed their second win of the season with an impressive 22-0 win over Castleford Tigers.
Jamie Ellis broke the deadlock just before half-time for the hosts and Ukuma Ta'ai, Aaron Murphy and Jermaine McGillvary all crossed after the interval.
