imagePESHAWAR: Central Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Siraj-ul-Haq and KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak held a detailed meeting at CM House here and reviewed the performance of the provincial government and matters relating to the Senate elections, said a press release issued here on Wednesday.

Besides, JI provincial chief, Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, provincial ministers Muzaffar Said Khan, Inayatullah Khan and Shahram Khan Tarakai were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the JI chief, Siraj-ul-Haq said that all three coalition partners of the provincial government should regularly review the performance of the government and stressed the need for efforts and endeavours for turning the province into a role model for the whole country.

Regarding Senate elections, he stressed making efforts for blocking the way of horse-trading, so no one could reach the upper house on the basis of his wealth.

The chief Minister Pervez Khattak told the JI chief that the provincial government was making consecutive efforts for cleansing the province of corruption while accountability commission in this regard will become operational soon.
