ISLAMABAD: A total of Rs731.839 Million has been paid to the legal heirs of martyred and injured in Federally Administered Tribal Areas, an official of Ministry of State and Frontier Regions said here Tuesday.
Talking to APP, he said during the last two years 978 persons were martyred and 1345 were seriously injured due to terrorist acts in Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
Replying to a question, he said the Government is compensating the affected families of terrorism as per approved policy.
Replying to another question, he said that the Government has revised the rates of compensation for affected families on October 20, 2014.
