50th death anniversary of Khawaja Nazimuddin observed

ISLAMABAD: The 50th death anniversary of second Governor-General of Pakistan Khawaja Nazimuddin was observed on Wednesday.

He played an important role in Pakistan's independence movement.

Nazimabad and North Nazimabad localities of Karachi and Nazimuddin Road in Dhaka and Islamabad were named after him.

He died on October 22 in 1964.
