Actress Jennifer Lawrence leaked photos were posted on Wikipedia after she spoke first time about the controversy. However, within 20 minutes of its release it was immediately removed by the authorities.
According to media reports, a feminist blog, ‘Jezebel’ reported that the account was not associated with any Wikipedia editors, but was rather a sock puppet, a fake page made to look like it’s legitimate.
The incident, perhaps, comes as retaliation from the side of the hackers after Lawrence broke her silence on October 7 in an interview to a foreign magazine about the ‘sexual violation’ that she and other celebs endured.
‘The Hunger Games’ actress along with many other prominent faces of Hollywood became victim of photo hacking scandal including Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande and Vanessa Hudgens.
