ISLAMABAD: Director General of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) in Sindh Suleman Shah said that sixty-eight thousand people have been shifted to safer places and they will be sent to their homes very soon.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that intensity of flood has been reduced to a great extent due to the breach in dykes in various parts of Punjab and it can be predicted that losses in Sindh will be at minimal level.
DG PDMA said "We had made precautionary measures in Sindh for a super flood and to counter the flow of more than seven hundred thousand cusecs of water. But actually, flood level is very low, however, we are ready".
