ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab has said that all the political parties have showed political maturity to resolve the present political crisis.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said legislators are united for the sanctity of the parliament and the constitution. Government has showed great tolerance against the protestors but nation knows the reality of these parties, he added.
He said Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri should show political maturity and call off their sit-ins and help flood affected people.
PML-N leader Khurram Abbas also said that this year huge losses occurred due to flash floods and government is busy to minimize the losses.
He said administration has engaged in the relief activities and people are being shifted to the safer places. It is the duty of general public also to cooperate with government institutions.
All political parties should take part in the relief activities with the collaboration of administration, he added.
Director Punjab Disaster Management Authority Muhammad Nawaz Khalid said government has accelerated the relief activities in flood affected areas and is trying to control the situation.
