DCO focus strict action against profiteers
MULTAN: District Coordination Officer has directed price control magistrates to conduct surprise visits to control profiteering across the district.
While presiding a meeting here on Wednesday, he directed price control committees to impose heavy fine on illegal profiteers with an objective to offer maximum relief to masses.
He also directed officers from market committees to set up Ramzan Bazaars before start of the month of Ramzan.
It was decided that six Ramzan Bazaars would be established at Gulshan market, Mumtazabad, Chungi No-1, Shamsabad, Shujaabad and Jalalpur Pirwala where cheap vegetables and fruits would be offered to citizens.
On this occasion, EDO Community Development Javed Mehmood, DOC Nousheen Jamsheed and other TMAs officers were also present.
