imageISLAMABAD: The legislators both from treasury and opposition on Thursday criticized heads of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahirul Qadri and urged them to avoid using derogatory language against country's leadership and resolve issues through dialogue.

Participating in the debate on country's current political situation, they expressed their resolve to protect democracy and constitution.

Khalil George of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) urged minorities not to be part of any revolution march. The nation does not want any revolution as people from all religions were living in the country peacefully.

The sacrifices of forefathers of the country must not go waste. Lauding the commitment of all parties to democracy, he said no power or authority can seek resignation from Prime Minister. Continuity of democracy is must for strengthening of system.

Tehmina Daultana of PML-N said the participants of both marches are peaceful and innocent peoples and they did not have any idea of the purpose and goals of the sit-ins.

Abdul Sattar Bachani of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) said Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan was an immature leader.

He expressed his concerns over the security of Parliament Lodges. PPP was not the B team of PML-N and supporting the government for strengthening democratic institutions.

Tahir Iqbal of PML-N advised Imran Khan to wait for his turn. There is difference between a cricketer and a politician. The National Assembly would never allow the resignation of the Prime Minister.

The participants of sit-ins must think that whether they have not become the part of any conspiracy against the country. He said before finalizing electoral reforms the older identity cards should be abolished.

Criticising Imran Khan he asked Imran to desist from using derogatory language against country's leadership.
