federationKARACHI: The Vice President of FPCCI, Khalid Tawab has urged Pakistani traders and manufacturers to focus and exploit markets available, for different consumer goods in Mozambique.

In a statement on Thursday he said that Mozambique was already importing rice from Pakistan while there also exists huge potential for textiles and marble made items of Pakistani origin.

Khalid Tawab said that Pakistani investors can also set up their units in Mozambique and export their products to nearby African countries as well.

He announced that in order to promote bilateral trade between the two countries a trade delegation from Pakistan would soon visit Mozambique.

The FPCCI Vice President, also the honorary councillor of Mozambique in Pakistan, appealed to the government to open its embassy in Mozambique so that difficulties of Pakistanis visiting or residing in Mozambique could be addressed.

Tawab said Mozambique, a member of Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), has always favored and supported Pakistan.
