LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bearish trend by losing 37.08 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5322.25 points and closed at 5285.17 points.
The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.098 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.425 million shares, showing a downward slide of 327,000 shares. While, out of the total 88 active scrips 13 moved up, 27 shed values and 48 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Packages Limited, AKZO Nobel Pakistan Limited and Summit Bank Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 20.03, Rs 6.91 and Re 1.00 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Atlas Honda Limited and United Bank Limited lost their per share value by Rs 20.60, Rs 15.05 and Rs 9.19 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Askari Bank Limited with 202,000 shares, Summit Bank Limited with 153,000 shares and Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 117,500 shares.
